LEAD TIME
We recommend placing your order as soon as possible and no later than 14 days before your event. We have the right to cancel any orders we’re no able to fulfil subject to availability. For orders with less than 14 days’ notice please e-mail info@themastercakesmith.co.uk
COLLECTION & POSTAL INFORMATION
Our collections are from Ellingham NE67 5HA on the date specified on your confirmation e-mail. Our cake samples, treat boxes and cookie boxes are available for shipping to UK Mainland. We send out our postal deliveries on the date specified via Royal Mail tracked. Any queries about postal or delivery please email info@themastercakesmith.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
We always recommend eating our treats & cakes on the day of delivery to enjoy them at their best. The cake is best stored in its box at room temperature or in the fridge if the weather is warm. Please note, some items are best not stored in a fridge and will need removing before storing. You should refer to your packing instructions for storage guidance. Our cakes will keep well for 5 days if stored correctly.
ALLERGY INFORMATION
All of our produce are made in an environment where CEREALS CONTAINING GLUTEN (such as barley, wheat and oats), EGGS, FISH, LUPIN, MILK, PEANUTS, TREE NUTS (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashew nuts, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts), SESAME, SOYBEANS, SULPHUR DIOXIDE and SULPHITES (at a concentration of more than ten parts per million) CELERY, MUSTARD, MOLLUSCS (such as mussels and oysters), CRUSTACEANS (such as prawns, crab and lobster) are used. For this reason we cannot guarantee they are free from traces of these allergens. All our cakes are suitable for vegetarians but not suitable for vegans. FREE-FROM & VEGAN CAKES
Unfortunately at this time we do no offer free from or vegan options.
CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether, please contact us as far in advance as possible. We will always be as accommodating as we can if you need to change or postpone an order. Please bear in mind that we may have had to turn away other customers to fulfil your booking for a particular date so refunds/changes are not always possible.Online orders cancelled 7 days or more before the delivery/collection date will receive a full refund on the order total; those cancelled after 7 days will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be provided at The Master Cakesmith’s discretion).
RETURNS OR REFUNDS
All of our cakes are baked to order and we do not accept returns. Refunds or a replacement order to the same value will be given only if you received the incorrect cake. Should you be unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes upon delivery, you must email us at info@themastercakesmith.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt. The Master Cakesmith will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.
